A ministry for our youngest parishioners, Pre-K through 5th grade
Agape HOPE & JOY is where our youngest children begin their journey of faith — through friendship, hands-on activities, and age-appropriate lessons rooted in the Orthodox Christian tradition. Whether your family has been part of St. Nicholas for generations or you’re just beginning to explore Orthodoxy, this ministry offers a warm and welcoming place for children to grow in their relationship with God.
Our Mission
We create a safe and supportive environment where young people can explore their faith, build relationships, and discover their purpose. Through this ministry, children develop a deeper understanding of the Eastern Orthodox faith — and a personal relationship with God — that will stay with them for life.
What to Expect
- Monthly Meetings — Children gather regularly throughout the year to learn, play, and grow together.
- Faith-Centered Activities & Crafts — Every activity is designed to connect Bible stories and Orthodox values to something fun and memorable for kids.
- Bible Camp — Each August, we host a Bible camp that coincides with the Fast of the Dormition, giving children a meaningful way to experience this season of the Church calendar.
- A Close-Knit Community — We work closely with our Sunday School teachers to keep everyone connected, so parents and students always know what’s coming up.
